We are pleased to announce that we are now an accredited Industry Partner of SBID.
Formed in 2009 SBID is the leading British professional accrediting body for interior designers in the UK. SBID Accreditation represents professional competence and best practice through education, experience and continued professional development.
The UK interior design industry is world-leading and SBID represents a diverse professional community celebrating the industry’s most skilled practitioners. The organisation has reputation for excellence that spans the globe. In the UK, they set industry standards champion competence and best practice. Subsequently this impacts the reputation, quality and delivery of interior design services around the world.
SBID Industry Partners are trusted trade suppliers of interior products, solutions and services for the interior design profession. Accreditation verifies the performance, quality and craftsmanship of product offerings. Furthermore, this demonstrates professionalism in the services provided as a widely recognised upholder of industry standards.
We are proud to have received this mark of approval and be recognised as a leading provider of stone care. We join globally distinguished brands such as Gaggenau who we co-hosted an event with in 2024 championing women in construction.
SBID recognise the importance of ongoing education as a pillar of an interior designer’s career. Consequently all members are required to participate in annual CPD activities through a range of training, learning and engagement opportunities.
As an industry partner we are certified to deliver educational content for members about our services and area of expertise. Providing guidance on how to care for stone is something that we are passionate about having developed our Athena Aftercare guide in 2021. Available in PDF and hard copy, the purpose is to help home owners to maintain their stone surfaces without needing a professional. Following this, our new approved CPD brings the material to life for Interior Designers so that they can specify stone with confidence. By providing quality information we hope to see the use of natural stoneĀ continuing to grow in popularity.
