What Our Clients Say

The professional who inspected the floor was clearly most knowledgeable and he also actioned the work subsequently. A date was agreed and the work was carried out with care and attention and minimum disruption. The floor now looks exactly as it did when initially installed. I have no hesitation recommending Athena Stone and will call them myself when another part of the floor needs refreshing.

Dealing with Athena has been seamless throughout. I have been impressed by Athena’s professionalism and customer focus from the beginning and this applies to everyone involved from reception, to administration to the actual treatment of the floor.

Just wanted to say thank you . The floor looks amazing. Love love it! Thank you so much!

I wanted to leave a review for Danielle. She went above and beyond to help find alternative solutions so I could get my worktops/ tiles restored in the timeframe I need to, even following up afterwards to see how things panned out. Excellent communication!

The only company I trust to restore flooring in my role at Humphrey Munson. Athena Stonecare are an amazing company with a true understanding of excellent customer service and endlessly helpful.

Humphrey Munson

Athena Stonecare is a great firm and I recommend it highly. Dave, Becca and the team could not have been more friendly and helpful, and they left our stone floor looking as good as new. I also thought their quote was very reasonable, given the amount of work involved.

Common questions we’re asked about our service:

What areas do you cover?

Regularly: London, South Buckinghamshire, Middlesex, Surrey, South Oxfordshire, East Berkshire, West Berkshire, South/ South West Hertfordshire, North Hampshire, Cotswolds, West Sussex

Occasionally:, North Buckinghamshire, West Oxfordshire, North and East Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent, South Hampshire, Gloucestershire, East Sussex

How do I arrange a quote?

Please call us on 01494 438 294 to arrange for one of the team to visit for a quote at no cost. Natural stone is our passion, so we are always happy to meet with you and see how we can help you to fall in love with your stone surface again.

You can also submit an enquiry form via the website or email If you have some photos of your stone then we would encourage you to take advantage of our Virtual Quote Form which will help us to make an initial assessment of the project and determine if it is something that we can help with.

For the areas that we do not visit regularly, we will not always be able to arrange to see your project in person. When this is the case we will ask you to fill out the project details on our Virtual Quote Form. We can often make a very good assessment of the work required and the expected results as well as provide a price from this. If not, then we will arrange to visit in person as soon as we have another booking local to you.

Do you have to visit site?

A site visit is not essential but is recommended. This is so that we can assess the finish and any existing sealant on the floor as well as discuss options for treatments. One of the really important things to us is the customer service that we offer. As such, our Managing Director Dave or Co Director Becca attend every quote. We do also have a Virtual Quote Form which covers all of the information that we would usually capture during a site visit.

Do you undertake small projects?

We are always happy to help bring any stone surface back to life. For projects within a 20 miles radius, our minimum charge is £500 + VAT and any distance beyond that is £750 + VAT. We are always happy to recommend other companies that offer the same services that we do but are based a little more locally to you.

Will my grout be cleaned in the process?

Yes, all of our services include a deep clean of your grout and this will usually come up really nicely. Clients are always most concerned about their grout as it easily catches dirt which can make the overall look of the floor more worn and dull.

How long will the work take?

We will always aim to provide an estimate of the time required to complete the works that we have quoted for. The quote that we have provided takes into account the time, equipment and consumables required to restore your floor as per our experts’ recommendation. However, please note that as a natural product, all stone will respond differently to even the most tried and tested method.
