The stone had been installed 10 years previously and our client had been happy to allow the marble to wear naturally – something that we advocate too. She loved to cook and the kitchen was well used. The process used handheld equipment to grind the surface of the stone to remove scratches and etch marks. We then used finer grit levels to polish the stone to the desired finish. As part of the work, we also replaced the silicone and epoxy joints to create a seamless finish.

Dave and his team did such a brilliant job restoring our limestone bathroom floors which someone used bleach on by accident. We thought they were ruined but Athena made them look like new again!
