Ever wondered if we can restore your worktop? That is exactly how our client enquired. She was initially sceptical that we would be able to return the stone to being as shiny as when it was installed. We reassured her that we could create the perfect polish and the team
The stone had been installed 10 years previously and our client had been happy to allow the marble to wear naturally – something that we advocate too. She loved to cook and the kitchen was well used. However, while replacing the cupboards it was the perfect opportunity to refresh the stone. Proof that it is never to late to restore your stone.
Our team completed the work in one day and this was carried out before the other decorating had taken place. We are also able to carry out all of our services at the end of a project. Our work is dust free and we ensure to protect all of the fixtures and fittings in your home. If you are ever unsure when our work should be scheduled, just give us a call and we can discuss the options in detail.
The process used handheld equipment to grind the surface of the stone to remove scratches and etch marks. We then used finer grit levels to polish the stone to the desired finish. As part of the work, we also replaced the silicone and epoxy joints to create a seamless finish.
What really impressed me is that Athena Stone gained absolutely nothing from helping me. I wasn’t a customer and they knew there was no job in it for them, yet they still took the time to look at the problem and give me genuinely useful advice.
After the experience I’d had trying to get help elsewhere, that level of customer service really stood out. They went above and beyond for someone who wasn’t even a paying customer, and their advice made a huge difference to us.
Amazingly high quality work and super responsive friendly customer service.
The work done by Dave and his team on our 30+ year old limestone flooring was outstanding. The stone was dirty and very cracked in places and I never dreamt they could make something so old look so good. The resin colour they used was an exact match and the cracks they filled are barely discernible now. The cleaned limestone looks wonderful and fresh. I can't believe what they achieved and couldn't be more thrilled.
Would you please thank Dave and his team - so much - for their outstanding work on our flooring? I can’t believe what they achieved and couldn’t be more thrilled. I never dreamt they could make something so old look so good!
Fantastic experience from start to finish. Outstanding customer service. Can't recommend highly enough.
Top quality service and good value for money. For once I am very happy to pay a bill!
