Maintaining natural stone doesn’t need to be difficult. In fact we are so sure that we have launched a one hour workshop that divulges all of our stone care secrets.

Care for our Clients

Every time that we complete a restoration treatment we’re asked the same question: how do I keep it looking like this? For many years we have been providing guidance to our own clients on how to clean and maintain their stone surface. At the end of a project each client is sent a QR code that leads to a hidden hub on our website. Our stone care guides outline simple steps that they can follow to ensure that their stone remains in good condition. Often this is the first guidance that they have had on the correct regime for their stone.

Athena Aftercare

Making stone easy to care for without needing a professional is something that we are passionate about. The guidance that we provide to clients is relevant from the day that stone is installed. In fact, many could have avoided needing our services if they’d had the right guidance at the beginning. In 2022 we launched Athena Aftercare. This is a guide that covers stone care for all surfaces and can be used by anyone with natural stone from installation onwards. Athena Aftercare is available in a hard copy or PDF. It is distributed by some of the leading stone suppliers and fabricators across the UK. Our stone care guidance has become a must-have for anyone who specifies and installs stone. It enables them to use stone with the confidence that the end user can enjoy it for many years to come.

The Masterclass

For the first time ever, we are bringing Athena Aftercare to life in a one hour Webinar. The CPD has been accredited by The Society of British and International Interior Design. It is aimed at Interior Designers, Project Managers and anyone who works with natural stone. During the session we outline some key considerations for stone care that should be made before choosing to use stone. We also explore the different types of sealants and protection for stone. We then outline simple steps for stone care that can be shared with clients. Making sure that stone is correctly cleaned is the key to ensuring that it will stand the test of time. A few easy preventative measures can make the biggest difference with natural stone. By the end of the hour we will leave you with more confidence to hep your clients make informed decisions on using natural stone.
